Transēvo was founded in early 2003 with a vision and commitment to understanding the real world demands of time and money that is placed upon growing companies. We have focused on earning trust and gaining the respect of our clients and partners through consistent innovation and dedication to providing successful solutions to their business. This consistent commitment to growing the business around us with innovation, trust, and practical business sense has attracted a like minded team that believes in what they are doing and stands behind their work every day. Even though Transēvo’s official formation was less than 9 years ago the core philosophies and goals have existed across the career of its founder for twice that time. It is that commitment to excellence and practical innovation that is provided to its clients and partners on a consistent and undeterred basis. "Transēvo is focused on innovative yet practical solutions for business," says founder JD Garner. "We help companies find business solutions to their technology problems. We don't develop technology as one-size-fits-all approach to business, because we realize that every company's needs are unique." JD, who has 20 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur, business owner, and technology development engineer says Transēvo offers unique advantages over traditional technology firms because of its ability to adapt quickly to the customers business need and understand the issue from the customers perspective.JD GARNER JD Garner - Transēvo's founder, President & CEO, has founded several companies and built/managed them from initial concept to daily operations. Their common thread has always been to focus on bringing technology solutions to the marketplace via either software development or eBusiness consulting. His company played a key partnership role in the development and management of Merger & Acquisition Services for the Enron Corporation from 1997 - 99 and supplied guidance in many of the key (legitimate) successes that provided the company such high returns. In 1999, JD split his time between Enron and his new start-up company focused in the area of "community communication" (AKA "social networking"). This new venture was backed by some of the largest technology and utility companies in the world and worked to create tools and services to build close relationship's with their customers’ day-to-day lives. This "new" concept of social interaction services & activity tools helped customers manage and blend their personal and business lives. After several years of working closely with these colossal corporate partner/clients, JD decided to branch out and refocus his attention on investing in small businesses and ideas that could make a measurable impact in their own industries. From this decision, JD reformed his consultancy and Transēvo was born and began by initially juggling a few clients and a faithful group of innovative individuals. JDs passion for creating, growing, and maintaining these businesses is evident in both their success, and his company’s respect with the clients, customers, partners, and personalities that they work with every single day. MIKE NEWLIN Michael Newlin has over 18 years of professional software development, information technology, and business experience, significantly in the risk management, accounting, and financial service sectors. In 1996, he graduated with a B.S. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2002, after several grueling years as a small business owner by day and student by night, he graduated with a M.B.A. from the Bauer School of business specializing in financial and accounting information systems. In addition to being a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, he holds a myriad of other software development, accounting, and ERP certifications. Through the years he has been a major part of both management and ownership of several successful startup companies. Some of his significant clients have been American Express, American General, Enron, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Texas Medical Center, and many Texas based mid-market companies. Michael met JD back in 2004 and was immediately taken in with JD's passion for growing businesses through technology and innovation, a passion that they both share. Michael is fond of saying that "it is impossible to keep up with the enthusiasm, work ethic, and creativity of JD but that doesn't keep the rest of us at Transēvo from trying". DAVID TURRENTINE David Turrentine joined Transēvo in 2003 and has been an integral part of the financial and business planning. David holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. David has been involved with numerous business acquisitions and built several successful businesses in the finance, insurance, & hospitality management sectors. His role as Chief Financial Officer at Transēvo has proven critical in financing and maintaining the important banking relationships needed to grow such a dynamic company. As a board member and stock holder David has added to the business direction and relationship management that has propelled Transēvo down its path of innovation and forward movement with its clients and partners. David's 16+ years of experience in the sales industry with a focuses on bank relations and financial affairs have proven to be an invaluable part of Transēvo's growing and thriving business in a hostile world economy. DEAN FINKELDEI Dean Finkeldei has over 21 years in the Information Technology industry with a vast array of knowledge including telecommunications, network engineering, systems, software development, and business services. He has worked with JD in multiple business ventures dating back to 1999, not to mention knowing him for over 30 years. Dean and JD started sister companies, "Transēvo Digital Business" and "Transēvo Networks" in 2003 where they both saw great success. He currently holds over 15 certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Infrastructure, and a few others. Dean joined the Transēvo team in 2010 after the opportunity was brought to him and he knew this is where he was meant to be. Dean has held various positions from a Sergeant in the US Army, Network Engineer for the Houston Chronicle, Senior Network/Voice Engineer for Corporate Office Centers, Business Owner, to a Cub Scout Cubmaster for his 2 young sons. Dean graduated from the University of Houston in 2000 with a BS in Information Technology Engineering and has increased his real world education across his career path that brings leadership and knowledge to Transēvo that works directly toward its success. |
